How we verify jobs

What we check before a job appears on this site, how a job leaves it, and what we do not promise. The checks read the whole job, not only its title.

What counts as remote

We list only jobs where the work is fully remote. Hybrid and onsite roles are not listed here.

A remote job may still be limited to some countries or regions. We list those jobs too and show the countries where you can work from.

A remote label set by the job board is not enough on its own. We read the job text and the fields the employer filled in, and a job that asks for office days or a specific office is not listed.

Countries you can work from

The countries on a job are the places the employer allows you to work from, not the places where the company has offices.

A job is marked worldwide only when the job says, in its text or its location, that you can work from anywhere. A job that simply does not name a country is not marked worldwide.

When the location in a job is unclear, the job does not appear on country or region pages.

Where jobs come from

Every job comes from a company's own public career page, read through the job board the company uses. We do not take jobs from other job sites or aggregators.

Only jobs written in English are listed.

Details are on the source policy page.

How fresh the list is

We read the career pages every day. The date on a job is when it first appeared on this site, not the date the employer set.

To apply, you go to the employer's own page through the link on the job.

How a job leaves the site

A job is closed when the company's job list, read in full and without errors, no longer contains it. A single failed request or a temporary error on the source does not close a job, and there is no timer that closes jobs by age.

A closed job is removed with the next update of the site, and its page then returns "not found".

What we do not promise

  • That a job is still open at the moment you apply.
  • That the description has not changed since we read it.
  • That the employer replies to your application.
  • That every check is right. The checks are made by our rules, and a rule can be wrong on an unusual job text.

Report a mistake

Every job page has a form to tell us that the job is closed, the apply link does not work, the job is in fact hybrid or onsite, the country or salary is wrong, the job is a duplicate, or something else is off.

A report that a job is closed is checked against the source, and a confirmed job is taken off the site. Other reports are saved with the job.
